End of Year Potluck PLUS competition!

Please join us for a potluck dinner to celebrate 2025 and to welcome the summer.

When: Tuesday 2 December, starting at 5.30 pm
Where: at the shop
What: bring a dish to share (5-10 small portions), or your own favourite fare - and please bring cutlery, plates, cups etc as well if you can

(All food for sharing must be vegetarian - vegan preferred)

If you can't bring (all of) this, please join us anyway. There is always more than enough food to go around.

One lucky member will take away an Omafiets bike shop voucher worth $119

Whether or not you can make the dinner, you can enter this comp one of two ways - and each member is welcome to use both:

(1) The volunteer track: volunteer for at least one hour between 15 November and 29 November (and log your hours by 4pm on 29 November at the latest). One entry per person on this track.

(2) The story-teller track: email [email protected] by 4pm on Saturday 29 November and tell us a few sentences about why the co-op has been special to you this year. It could be a treasured moment, favourite snack, the best veggie box, a particular interaction - it is completely up to you.

You can send multiple stories, just send them in separate emails. You can get up to one entry per story on this track - and that is in addition to any volunteer track entry.

When you email us, please also let us know if you’re happy for us to use the story and your first name in emails to our mailing list and/or other promotional material (eg the website and social media).

Directors and co-ordinators are ineligible, but every other member is welcome to enter as many times as you have stories.

The winner will be drawn at the potluck; if you're not there, we'll send you details of how to collect in the week following the dinner.
